Blister Sealing
Blister packaging is made up of two vital components: a thermoformed "plastic blister" which houses the product and a "blister card" that is a printed card with an adhesive coating on the front surface. During the assembly process, the blister component, which is most commonly made out of PVC, is attached to the blister card utilizing a blister machine. This machine introduces heat and pressure to the flange area of the blister which activates the glue on the card in that specific area and ultimately secures the PVC blister to the printed blister card. ttaching the PVC blister to the specially treated blister card through a heat-sealing process like this allows the product to be displayed in a wide variety of methods Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals here is their complete line of supplements and vitamins.
